My letter to the Brexit secretary questioning the government’s commitment to UK citizens in Europe featured in an article by the Guardian

My analysis of the current situation for EU nationals in the UK and British nationals in other EU countries was published in a blog, entitled "Citizens' rights post-Brexit – the State of Play" for the Heinrich Boll Foundation

I was named in the Guardian as part of the team of MEPs who wrote to the Home Secretary, warning that forcing EU nationals to register in the transition period after Brexit would be illegal.

I was interviewed on BBC Radio London and called on the UK Parliament to ensure the government enters the negotiations on exiting the EU with clear principle of guaranteeing rights of EU nationals in the UK and UK nationals in the EU (at approx minute 37)

As Green candidate for President of the European Parliament, in a live, web-streamed debate I pledged to defend the historic rights of EU nationals in the UK and said if not upheld this could form a legitimate reason to veto Brexit when I will vote on the deal as an MEP.
